It's been way to long...I have been so busy working on my new store Simply Pink Couture.  This is an online boutique which provides style, bling, and sassy girl things...

Simply Pink Couture consists of 2 hippie chicks with a crafty mind for creating a variety of designs inspired by family, culture, travels, trends and childhood delights!

Our passion is creating beautiful wearable art for girls and women of all ages. We put our heart and soul into every single item we create. We are  always creating something new and fun, and we are excited to now offer our accessories online.

Simply Pink Couture all started because of who we are... we are sports moms who had nothing fun  or cute to wear to our kids sporting events.  We wanted to turn the cheer mom into the CHEER WOW!!!

We decided that one company and two minds were better than two companies and one mind, so Simply Pink Couture was born.

Wet n Wild Cosmetics HAUL

TOTALLY SHOCKED is all that I can say.  So while in my local grocery store I picked up one of the Wet n Wild shadow trios (Walking On Eggshells) at a ridiculously low price of $1.49, all the Wet n Wild cosmetics were half off. The shadow went on smoothly, and stayed in place all day. It had just a bit of glitter without being too sparkly for day. The light shade was perfect for overall lid coverage on casual days. I liked it so much I went back and bought the other 5 compacts, the Mega Eyes Cream Eyeliner in Black, and Mega Slicks Lip Gloss in Sun Glaze, for a total of $9.96

The applicator that comes with it is way to small so you will definitely need to use a bigger applicator. As for the shadow itself, the color shows up very well and It was easy to spread.  I sprayed a little of MAC's FIX Plus on my brushes before applying the shadow which produced a very smooth application process.

 

Here is Walking On Eggshells.  The picture does no justice for the pigments of the shadows.    The other 5 include: On Cloud Nine, Don't Steal My Thunder (looks stunning with a smokey eye), Sweet as Candy, Knock on Wood, and Cool as a Cucumber.   As I create the looks I will be posting pictures.

Pretty colors, they don't fade or crease and they're subtle and not overwhelming. $3.99 or less at the grocery store - a  total steal for something so awesome!

Saturday End of the Season Shopping

DECIDED: Summer Handbag

So I decided on my handbag and went with this one. This bag is HUGE and large enough to carry all of my essentials and then some.  This bag also comes in a hot pink, yellow and turquoise color.  When I saw it originally it was $29.99, but when I went back to get it, it was marked down to $24.99...I guess it pays to wait...Sometimes!!!

iSTYLE "Miley Cyrus"

Shopping for groceries last week in Walmart there were some great markdowns on the Miley Cyrus clothing line.  I am not really a big fan of Miley Cyrus, but these markdowns were just too great of a deal to pass up.   I picked up this cute turquoise cropped jacket for $3.00 and paired it with a pair of Miley Cyrus jeans marked down to $3.00, as well as a couple of other items from her line that were marked down to $1 and $3 dollars.  They also had the Baby Phat "Silver Label" jeans marked down to $5.00   See how  "iSYLYE"  a couple of the pieces below...
