New Year's Eve Ebay Haul

So this New Year's Eve hubby and I stayed in and decided to do it up at home. He decided he wanted to grill some steaks, so while he was grilling I hit up ebay...OMG I guess everyone was getting ready for New Year's Eve parties and things, seems like no one was bidding on ebay.

I was looking at the Coach handbags, just looking not really interested in purchasing one at all, when I cam across this beautiful metallic gray leather bag. It had about 10 minutes left on the auction and the max bid was $92.89. SOOOO I decided to bid right before the auction ended, placed a max bid of 100.01 and won this beautiful bag for....$97.99.

The Coach Signature Embossed Metallic Leather Gallery Tote was new with the tags still attached and retails for $348.00. The bag is rather large as it measures approx. 14"(L) x 9"(H) x 5"(D). I love the fact that it has outside side pockets where I can easily drop my cell phone and keys.

Now all I have to do is figure out how to explain this little "small" purchase to the hubby...Happy New Year Ladies!!!

I was on the mission for just one pair of boots during Black Friday.

I have been wanting these Naughty Monkey Knee High Boots since last year, but every time I found them on sale which was not that often, they would never have my size. So last week I saw them at DSW for $99.99 and the guy there told me they were going to be on sale during Black Friday. So yesterday I finally accomplished my mission. I snagged these for $54.00 (had a 25% off coupon I used as well). I was on cloud 9.

Thinking to myself...ok I am satisfied I can go home now, NOT. My Aunt and Grandmother wanted to stop in JCP, you guys know I heart JCP...They had some awesome door busters until 1:00.

These are by Decree, they retailed for $100.00 and yesterday during the door buster sale they were $29.99, NOW that is a deal. You don't have to hit the slopes to be a ski bunny. These stylish winter-wear boots have faux fur and lace-up detailing for the ultimate in cold weather, and it does get cold here in Texas.

I snagged a few other deals, a Satin Down Blend Coat by St. John's Bay, originally $200.00 it was on sale for $49.99 and some clearance jewelry marked down to $2.47...all in all I got some pretty good deals. I so love Black Friday!!! So what did you ladies find during Black Friday?

Wet n Wild Cosmetics HAUL

TOTALLY SHOCKED is all that I can say. So while in my local grocery store I picked up one of the Wet n Wild shadow trios (Walking On Eggshells) at a ridiculously low price of $1.49, all the Wet n Wild cosmetics were half off. The shadow went on smoothly, and stayed in place all day. It had just a bit of glitter without being too sparkly for day. The light shade was perfect for overall lid coverage on casual days. I liked it so much I went back and bought the other 5 compacts, the Mega Eyes Cream Eyeliner in Black, and Mega Slicks Lip Gloss in Sun Glaze, for a total of $9.96

The applicator that comes with it is way to small so you will definitely need to use a bigger applicator. As for the shadow itself, the color shows up very well and It was easy to spread. I sprayed a little of MAC's FIX Plus on my brushes before applying the shadow which produced a very smooth application process.

Here is Walking On Eggshells. The picture does no justice for the pigments of the shadows. The other 5 include: On Cloud Nine, Don't Steal My Thunder (looks stunning with a smokey eye), Sweet as Candy, Knock on Wood, and Cool as a Cucumber. As I create the looks I will be posting pictures.

Pretty colors, they don't fade or crease and they're subtle and not overwhelming. $3.99 or less at the grocery store - a total steal for something so awesome!

These Gucci Platforms are "da bomb"...however my pockets are not even that deep. I saw these online which began the hunt for a "sheek" for "cheap" version and came up with these R2 by Report.

This is the "Sonoma" Platform which I found AND won on Ebay for $6.50. The style of this sandal looks kinda tough and I think could pull off a strong feminine facade, they have a heel height of 4"inches, anyway for the price I will definitely work with them...Can't wait to get them.

MY FIRST PRIZE GIVEAWAY...I went to a perfume party on this past weekend and had a great time. This was the first time I had been to a perfume party as a matter of fact I never knew they existed, so I was invited by a friend of mine and decided to check it out. You will never guess where I went yesterday...Yep Salvation Army. I didn't find any clothes that I just had to have today but I did not leave there without buying something. I found these really cute funky clogs for $9.99. The brand is Attitude With Out Limits and that is just what I plan to have when I step out in these. The shoes are new and don't appear to have been worn. I am loving the turquoise and silver color and of course THE STUDS. According to the tags it appears these at one time retailed for $59.99.

I had never heard of this brand before so I goggled the brand name to find out a little more about this line. Innovative constructions, multicolored patterned leathers, and unique fabrics make this funky, fashion footwear line a sought after brand in Europe. I was well pleased with my purchase today. Who Would've "Thunk" It...

If you are not stopping into your local thrift stores every now and then it's no telling what you have been missing. There is a great Salvation Army Store about 30 miles from where I live that has what they call a "Boutique" section. Here in the boutique section is where you will find items that have new tags still on them or bore the label of an expensive designer. I went today and found some really good deals.

I am a sucker for sandals that strap around the entire ankle. Not sure of what the brand is on these shoes as there were no original tags, just the size and that they are made of a leather upper. They are new and don't appear to have ever been worn, but what I am sure of is that I liked the shoe, I LOVED the color and the studs were just like icing on the cake, but the best thing of all .. these were just $6.00.

I also stumbled across this really cute Michael Kors Stud Top for $3.00, and the only thing wrong with it...

One of the studs just needs to be sewn down with some red thread. This shirt still had the original Macy's tags still attached which shows the top retailed for $69.50 I also threw in my basket 3 dresses that had the original tags on them which range from $100.00 to $120.00, they were $3.00 each, 2 of them I just need to replace the zipper, 3 bracelets that were $1.00 each and 1 pair of earrings for $3.95. I spent a little over $25.00. I figured out the best day to go is on Wednesdays, can't wait to see what treasures I can find on next week.

My Colin Stuart Lace Up's

I spotted the cutest Colin Stuart lace up shoes on Ebay last week. The auction had 1 minute til closing with the highest bid at $2.95...Yes there was a FLAW, the toe band on the right shoe was separated at the center.

I went ahead and placed my bid because I thought a shoe repair could easily fix this. Needless to say I won them for $5.50, with shipping I paid $10.45. Well the shoes arrived Saturday and I immediately took them to my local shoe repair to see how much they would charge to fix this small little flaw...$30.00 bucks!!! I was floored as all the shoe needed was to be sewn and connected together at the toe band. I left the store, shoes in hand and headed over to Walgreen's to pick up a bottle of Mighty Mendit for $8.99.

This stuff is great. When I got home I immediately used the glue on my shoe and instantly my problem was fixed. This glue is a permanent bonding agent and works on bonding fabric, lace, trim, leather and wood. It holds fast and is quick to dry, great for quick repairs. My shoes were dry in less then two hours. I popped into JC Penny's over the weekend to take back a pair of jeans for my son. I picked up a few deals that were on clearance, marked down to $2.18.

I got a total of 8 shirts. I really did not need these but at $2.18 I just could not pass them up.

The pants were only $4.99, still one those "can't pass it up items". I didn't have a coupon this time, but at these prices not having a coupon was fine with me... I so need to stay out of JC Penny's!!!

If you are looking for some really good eyeshadow brushes that don't cost an arm and a leg I would suggest you try the elf cosmetic line. I bought 3 of their eyeshadow brushes priced at $1.00 each, but don't let the price fool you. I was really surprised when using them, these brushes will pick up the right amount of shadow and distributes the shadow evenly across the lids of the eyes. The brushes are super soft and not harsh like some of the other high dollar brushes that I have tried.

This cute little She Said dolmen sleeve top was just $2.47 at JC Penny's, one of the 11 that I found during there 80% clearance sale last week. I am actually wearing the top backwards because I wanted to wear my INC lace bustier top that I found at Macy's for $4.99. The back of the top has a deep v cut so I just switched it around, paired the two with some jeans and my Report Cargo Boots. I wore this outfit out to dinner with some friends last night and no one but me of course, knew that the top was backwards. Got lots of compliments on the bustier.

While out shopping with my son this weekend I came across some really great deals at JC Penny's...nothing was over $30.00, plus I used my $10.00 off any purchase of $25.00 coupon and saved even more. I'm becoming a Pro at this ebay thing...I am so happy right now, I found my Report Cargo boots on ebay. The starting bid was .99 cents. I waited til the last minute to bid literally 9 seconds before the auction ended and yep that's right I WON. Got my boots for $45.97. These bad boys retail for $195, I saw them marked down to 128.99 last week, not wanting to wait to see what other reductions would be taken I started my search for them on ebay. I know for a fact I could not have gotten these in the department store for $45 bucks...I will be wearing these AS SOON as I get them.

Ok so I have been searching for a pair of boots similar to the Tory Burch Jaden Boot since September of last year. The Jaden boot by Tory Burch carried a hefty price tag of $550.00 when I saw them at Nordstrom's back in early fall...It kills me just thinking about it, I would NEVER pay that much for a pair of boots.

Yesterday I found this cute Nine West "Mako" boot which is pretty similar to the Tory Burch Boot. The boots were originally $158.00 they were marked down to $59.99 and then take 50% off the marked price, so I got them for just under $30.00 dollars. I know I should be looking ahead towards getting my spring wardrobe collections, but in Texas it is still could and the winter markdowns on boots and other items simply cannot be passed up. I know at some point I will need to say enough is enough...No more boots!

Naughty Monkey Open Front Mid Calf Boot

Just browsing ebay today not really looking for anything in particular I came across this cute shoe boot by Naughty Monkey. I could not resist so I did it...I bid on the shoe in the last 10 seconds of the auction ending and I won...I got them for $31.00.

I also found a cute faux leather jacket for $19.00 that I hope will look good with the boots and I was thinking a pair of skinny jeans to complete the look. I know the shoes I will definitely like, just keeping my fingers crossed on the jacket!!!

Today while out with my mom enjoying the nice 70 degree weather in Texas we came across a sample sale. While driving by I made the comment "It's sample stuff so I am sure something is wrong with it", my mom looked at me like I was crazey and said "if you don't turn this car around..." So reluctantly I turned around and all I could say was "Thanks mom". I was AMAZED at what I found. This weekend I stopped in one of my favorite shoe stores... DSW Shoe Warehouse. I could not believe my eyes. They had Coach shoes and they were ON SALE. I found this cute adorable shoe it's called Coach Carleen Studded Platform Pump. It retails for $198.00 but went home with me for....$39.00, I could not believe it (pictures shows the shoe in Black, I purchased the Brown).

Needless to say after that deal, I was ready to call it a day. I tried to go online to see if they had anymore but I guess the cannot sale Coach shoes online just in the stores. Well today was crazy. Today my favorite store had an $8000.00 boot blowout sale from such designers as Michael Kors, BCBG, and Steve Madden just to name a few. I got there at 10:00 a.m. and it was a MAD HOUSE. People were literally running around in the store to get their hands on a bargain. I did manage to walk away with this J Renee "Kara" Boot. The boots had a retail price of $160.00, but today they went home with me for $39.00, I also managed to find two beautiful Chico's belts for $9.00 each and two sweaters for $9.00 each…all this for just $75.00 I may step out in these boots this weekend if so I will try to post pictures.

Ok, so every Wednesday morning faithfully I stop in at my favorite store to see what steal I can find ( I will do a post about my favorite store at a later time). So today I found this cute little quilted boot from Naturalizer, called the “Vass” boot. The boot retails right now in stores and online for $74.00, but today I found them for $15.00.I am not a big fan of Naturalizer, when I think of the brand I picture my mom, but when I saw these I thought they would look nice with jeans. It’s comfy and very stylish and will probably become a staple in my winter wardrobe as I attend a lot my son’s sporting activities. I am going to wear these tomorrow night to my son’s basketball game and I will post pictures.
